If you are looking for a quiet get-away where you can relax and enjoy the beauties of nature while still being close to the amazing attractions that the Tennessee Valley and Chattanooga area have to offer? Is so, you just found the perfect place! Our beautiful cabins are on a private lake. Walk out the door and down to the private lake. Deerhead Lake is a reservoir located just 4.7 miles from Dunlap, in Sequatchie County, in the state of Tennessee, United States, near Fredonia Mountain, TN. Fishermen will find a variety of fish including bream/bluegill, carp, panfish, largemouth bass, sunfish, crappie, warmouth and rock bass here.

THE LAKEHOUSE ON FREDONIA

3 Bedroom - 2 Baths -- Sleeps 8 Elegant Lakehouse on a private lake. The home has a large wrap around porch that has a huge overhang, so it is great, even when raining. The inside has a fully equipped, large kitchen and the cabin it is in impeccable condition. There are three bedrooms, two full baths, a futon/sleeper, in addition to an air mattress, so it can actually sleep eight people. It would make a great getaway for business people, families and a friends

THE CABIN AT BLUEBELL WOODS

Small, quaint cabin with all the modern conveniences. A great getaway for couples, family, girls, guys. We can often accommodate same day bookings but due to coordinating cleaners, you will need to message the owners for this. 50 mins from the outskirts of Chattanooga, one hour to downtown Chattanooga, so not far away 🙂 It is situated on a level lot on a small lake/pond. Perfect for paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, etc. We have a paddle boat and a flat bottom boat with a trolling motor for guests to use.

UNBELIEVABLE BEAUTY

Sitting on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, taking in all the beauty of nature is surreal. The calmness, the peaceful surroundings... it recharges your 'batteries' and give rest to the soul! Breathless, that’s what you’ll feel the first time you see the panoramic Sequatchie Valley. This natural beauty has been the home of the Cherokee, the pioneer and the coal miner.

DEFINITION OF COZY

The word “Cozy” describes being comfortable and warm, like when you feel cozy curled up on the couch under a soft blanket, in front of a roaring fire. "Isn't this cozy?" When you hear these words, you know that you are in a friendly, casual place where everyone feels welcome.

RUSTIC COMFORTS

Take some time out to relax on by the private lake with a cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade while you take in the magnificent mountain and lake views of the area. In the summer months when you get hot enough, splash into the lake and cool off or take a boat ride to explore all the coves of Deerhead Lake. As the sun begins to set, finish off your perfect day roasting s’mores around the fire or catch lighting bugs in a jar. Just because you’re grown up, doesn’t mean like you shouldn’t feel like a kid again while you’re on vacation! Slow down, savor the moment and create some great memories at one of our lakeside vacation homes!
